Your Story and Mine: A Community of Hope

Still from DVD Production

Your Story and Mine participants used the building blocks of history- articfacts, records, oral traditions and family photos- to develop their own personal histories. They were encouraged to tell their stories through art, music, photography, poetry and writing.

We've gathered these stories and packaged them in an exhibit which will travel throughout the state of Michigan. We hope to foster a greater understanding of homelessness, its causes and potential cures.

MSU Women' Basketball Head Coach & Advent House Spokesperson Suzy Merchant will introduce the exhibit at Lansing City Hall November 4th 2009. We hope to see you there!
